Run the forest you know. Fund the reef you don't.
On 9 October 2026, Kilian Cook will attempt the full Pandurensteig in one continuous push: 178.6 kilometres from Waldmünchen to Passau through the Bavarian Forest.
The run is a personal endurance project with a public purpose: raising support for CONMAR's coral restoration work alongside coastal communities in Ecuador.

CONMAR grows coral in underwater nurseries and transplants it to degraded reef sites, working with local Coral Guardians — including fishermen and young people — who gain conservation skills, employment alternatives and a role in protecting their coastal waters.
