About
Rooted in the territories we accompany.
Territory Allies Fund (TAF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to socio-environmental cooperation across Latin America. We strengthen community-linked conservation, biocultural knowledge, territorial governance and climate resilience — through resources, partnerships, science and long-term accompaniment.

Mission
To strengthen community-linked socio-environmental initiatives by supporting conservation, territorial governance, biocultural knowledge and climate resilience across Latin America.
Vision
Latin American territories where local and Indigenous communities lead conservation with autonomy, dignity and durable support.
Our story
We didn't launch. We listened — for years — until something needed to take shape.
01What we kept seeing
Serious work, quiet support
Working close to the territories of Latin America, we kept seeing the same pattern: rigorous local initiatives doing meaningful conservation work, with little access to the long-term funding, networks and visibility they deserved.
02A long conversation
A circle of allies
Conservationists, researchers and community partners began meeting — not to design a programme from the outside, but to ask what a respectful, non-extractive form of long-term accompaniment could actually look like.
03Today
A bridge, on their terms
Territory Allies took shape to help close that gap — patiently, transparently, and always on the terms of the people who live the land. The work begins where the territory begins.
